Sam is a creative person through and through - she’s constantly filled with ideas and emotions to express through some art form or another, be it painting, printmaking, or pottery! 

Having worked with pottery on and off for years, Sam took ceramics in high-school and through Running Start at Whatcom Community College. At the start of Covid she decided to take things into her own hands and set up a mini studio in a backyard shed. That’s when Sam really started to experiment with clay and taught herself as much as she could.

Her artistic style ebbs and flows with her, and the phases of her life. Sam wants her work to reflect her and her experiences… She doesn’t believe that she fits into one box, so neither does her art!
