Sam Webster - Teacher & Studio Technician

Sam Webster is a ceramic and multimedia sculptor, working primarily in clay since 2010. They earned their Bachelor of Fine Arts from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2016, followed by a year of industry experience at Rowe Pottery.

Sam’s ceramic work deals with the relationship between the body and clay, architectural forms and sense of place, and material experimentation. They have shown and sold work at multiple events in Chicago and the midwest, and are developing a new body of work that captures local motifs and recent experiences for a solo show.

Sam believes art access is essential to both a thriving community and thriving people, and is thrilled to be sharing the medium and joy of clay at MUD!
